
Mitomics is led by a team of seasoned business executives and world-class scientists with a proven ability to discover and develop compelling molecular-based products, using its Mitomic Technology™ to improve clinical insight and therapeutic decisions. The company's visionary mitochondrial genomics research team contributes expertise in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, medical sciences and bioinformatics, with more than 100 years of combined industry experience and more than 400 peer-reviewed journal publications and presentations.

Mr. Poulter joined Mitomics in 2007 to oversee the company's transition from a research and development position to the successful commercialization of its products. Previously, he served as the practice leader for IBM's business consulting division, where he was in charge of the diverse and dynamic markets of Southeast Asia and India. While at IBM, his focus was in the fast-growing area of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), in which he was responsible for building the company's CRM practice from infancy to a multimillion dollar business. His extensive business background includes senior executive experience in finance, business strategy, and mergers and acquisitions, with various high-level management positions within Accenture and the Royal Bank of Canada. Mr. Poulter's vast experience includes sales, marketing, commercial development and management in various markets, including Canada, United States, Europe and Southeast Asia.
He received an HBComm in marketing and finance from Lakehead University.

Ms. Creed joined Mitomics in 2001 as a senior research specialist, where her expertise in research has been leveraged to discover new biomarkers and has enabled the company to create and optimize a number of molecular diagnostic tests. Ms. Creed is a leader in identifying non-invasive approaches to previously invasive molecular tests. Prior to joining the company, she spent three years as a DNA analyst at Lakehead University's Paleo-DNA Laboratory, working with extensively degraded nucleic acids.
Ms. Creed holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from Lakehead University, where she specialized in biological anthropology.

Mr. Dulude joined Mitomics in 2010 and is responsible for all areas of finance and accounting, investment initiatives and corporate governance. Mr. Dulude is a chartered accountant with a background that includes diverse work experience in audit, taxation, economic and financial analysis, financial and management accounting, and operations management. Previously, he held positions with KPMG and Grant Thornton LLP.
Mr. Dulude holds an HBComm in accounting and finance from Lakehead University.

Dr. Martin joined Mitomics in 2010 and is responsible for leading collaborations for the company’s Mitomic Test pipeline, as well as managing Mitomics’ regulatory affairs and quality systems. He brings to the company more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions in the biotechnology industry. Prior to joining Mitomics, Dr. Martin served as the director for product development at PREVENT, a national center of excellence for the commercialization of novel vaccine technologies, where he was responsible for identifying and leading the clinical development of new vaccine candidates. Dr. Martin was also the managing director and founder of Lumar Management Consulting Inc. (LMCI), a company providing operational management and executive mentoring to emerging biotechnology companies. Dr. Martin previously held various senior management positions at biotechnology companies including, director of research and development at Arius Research Inc.; vice president, research and development at GENSEL Biotechnologies Inc.; and director of immunobiology at Biomira Inc. He also previously served as section head of molecular immunology with the NRC Biotechnology Research Institute in Montreal, and held adjunct faculty appointments with the department of pharmacology and therapeutics at McGill University, and the department of molecular biology and genetics at the University of Guelph.
Dr. Martin holds a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Waterloo, an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in cell biology from the University of Toronto, and completed post-doctoral studies at the Medical Research Council in Cambridge, UK under Dr. Cesar Milstein, FRS, and Nobel Laureate.
Dr. Parr co-founded the company in 2001, utilizing his academic research background in the area of mtDNA to develop Mitomics' successful commercial research platform and leading-edge biomarker discovery capabilities. He began his research career at the University of Utah in the department of cellular, viral and molecular biology. He has participated in a variety of intricate projects such as nuclear differentiation within eukaryotic cells, mechanisms of viral infections, recovery and sequencing of mtDNA extracted from the skeletal remains of ancient Egyptian populations, and identification of unclaimed victims from the 1912 Titanic disaster using mtDNA. He also worked on the problem of cancer resistance to drug therapy as a senior research specialist at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center Department of Hematology and Oncology.
Dr. Parr received his Ph.D. in biological (molecular) anthropology from the University of Utah, as well as an M.A. and B.S. from Brigham Young University.

Mr. Merritt joined Mitomics in 2010 and is responsible for leading the company’s U.S. sales force, and implementing Mitomics’ commercialization and marketing strategies. He brings to the company nearly a decade of experience in medical device sales. Most recently, Mr. Merritt was vice president of sales and customer care at Timm Medical Technologies, Inc., where he was responsible for four sales managers and 33 specialty urology sales professionals, as well as revenue and expense budgeting. Mr. Merritt has extensive experience in new product pilot and launch, sales force expansion and employee development.
He received a B.A. in communications from St. John’s University.

Mr. Redden joined Mitomics in 2012 and is responsible for leading the company’s Asia Pacific sales and marketing efforts and implementing Mitomics’ commercialization and distribution strategies in Asia Pacific. He brings to the company over 20 years of experience in medical device sales management across a number of healthcare segments in Asia Pacific, including urology, women’s health care, cardiovascular, neurology, surgery, and diagnostic imaging. Mr. Redden’s extensive experience in Asia Pacific includes representing industry market leaders such as Ultrasonix Medical, Cooper Surgical, and Norland Medical.
He has been published and is a contributing author of GLOBAL GOLD, Panning for Profits in Foreign Markets.
He is received a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Kutztown University.
